Ahh, I got back from Youth Quake Live a few days ago. It's one of the funnest things ever, so if you live in the Jacksonville area, you should definitely go. You know, it's funny how, even as someone who follows God, we can be depressed. I mean I know stuff is bad... people are seriously suffering out here, it's obvious. But my point is, when we have something waiting for us that's so powerful, so amazing, we can't even comprehend how beautiful it's going to be. Heaven I mean. xD Plus, we already have so many blessings in our lives.

Ha, you're probably wondering why I posted this. Well, it was funny. I was reading a blog post as I was listening to music just now. I was actually just looking for lyrics to a song, which led me to a lady's blog post. Now, let me first say... Well, I don't know if i've been being the best example. I'm not a horrible person in any sense (I hope) but I do have alot to work on, and I happened to find a blog post about how a lady had just gotten a call from her doctor to find out she had cancer. You know what I would have done if it were me? Probably griped about it on this blog either for sympathy or just to let my anger out.

She was in a horrible situation. A life or death situation in the literal sense, and all she could speak about was how God was blessing her, and well... it made me feel kinda bad. xD Not only that, but my youth minister showed us a video about impoverished countries tonight. Those that have so much than we do, and i'm incredibly sorry to say I was a bit numb to it. We had all heard so much about the people who had less than us, and I suppose I was sort of used to it? The lady who posted her blog? I don't know her, but one thing I do know is that my Father has been trying to get a message through my dense head that I need to be more appreciative of what I have.

He gave my family a car recently, He gave me an amazing church family, He brought me to Youth Quake Live so now I can mission to other people. It's about time I find the joy that I had before with God, cause he's SO worth it.
